Forage With Flourish Workshop

Spend the morning with Susie learning how to elevate bought floral arrangements by adding foliage and florals foraged from the garden.

With guidance from Susie you’ll forage for florals and foliage on the farm. You’ll then be shown various arrangement techniques, focusing on how to combine your foraged botanicals with a bought bouquet to create a beautiful new arrangement. All materials will be supplied. Just come ready to forage and have fun.

What to expect:

We'll start with  a brief chat & welcome by Susie and then begin our foraging adventures. Susie will offer guidance on the types of florals and foliage to look for and you'll fill your buckets which we will bring back to the studio. We'll break for tea, coffee and a light refreshment and then get to work. Susie will do a demo and then you'll have the chance to put together your own arrangement with guidance from Susie.

Experience required:

You do not need any floral experience to attend and enjoy the workshop. The workshop is for anyone who loves flowers and would like to learn how to create their own arrangements. All materials are supplied, just come ready to forage and have fun.

The workshop will take place in CONSTANTIA, WESTERN CAPE and spots are limited.

Cost: R 1,350 per person

Time: 09:00 - 12:00

What is included:

• Tea, coffee and light refreshments
• A combination of store bought florals
• A variety of florals and foliage foraged by you
• A beautiful vase to place your arrangement in
• A fun and relaxing morning with fellow creatives
• You do not need to bring anything, any other materials required will be supplied for you to use on the day.

You will leave with your completed arrangement (in a vase) and the skills to create further arrangements on your own.

• The price above is for one person. Should you have questions, please read our Workshop T's and C's below.
• You'll receive an e-mail the week of your chosen workshop date with everything you need to know for the event (how to find us, where to park, what to bring etc.)

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• Please note that the workshop fee is non-refundable, however, if you're unable to attend after booking your spot, the ticket is transferable.
• We have a full programme planned for the workshop, please ensure that you arrive promptly so we can maximise our time together.
• Attendees understand and agree that they may be photographed during the event and that the images may be used for future promotion.
• Neither Susie Leblond nor Flourish Urban Flower Farm shall be held responsible for any failure or delay in the performance of their obligations arising out of or caused, directly or indirectly, by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God, fires, floods, power interruptions, loss or malfunctions of utilities, computer (hardware or software) or communication service, accidents, labour disputes, or governmental actions.
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events at any point.
• Physical tickets won't be issued. You'll receive an automatic confirmation email when placing your order and we will email you all the details for the workshop in the week prior to the event. These emails will serve as confirmation of your place.
• Please note: you might be asked for your address as part of our checkout process, but your ticket will be sent to you digitally (you won't be charged for shipping).
