If you love having fresh flowers in your home or gifting them to loved ones, then join me for a inspiring, hands-on workshop where you'll learn the basics of growing your own cut flowers - no experience required!

With a special focus on dahlias, we'll cover what to grow, when to plant and how to care for your blooms to ensure a season full of stunning flowers.

 What we will cover:

• How to plan, plant and care for a thriving cut flower garden
• Harvesting techniques for longer-lasting blooms
• Choosing the right dahlias for your garden
• Easy to grow flowers to start from seed this season
• A buyers guide to selecting plants and tubers

What to expect:

We'll meet at 09:00, start with a very brief chat and welcome by Susie and then move onto hands-on demonstrations in the garden and greenhouse. We will break for tea and light refreshments and then head to the studio where Susie will offer guidance on the topics mentioned above. We will end with a Q&A session with Susie.

What's included:

• Hands-on instruction in the garden - learn by doing!
• Dahlia digging and anatomy lesson, plus a demo on dividing tubers
• Seeds to take home and sow for spring flowers
• A step-by-step planting and care guide
  
• Tea, coffee and light refreshments

Dahlia tubers and flower seeds will be available for purchase on the day of the workshop.

Experience required:

The workshop is a practical introduction to growing cut flowers and is beginner-friendly. You do not need any floral or garden experience to attend and enjoy the workshop. The workshop is for anyone who loves flowers and would like to learn how to plan and plant their own cut flower garden. All materials are supplied, just come ready to learn and have fun.

The workshop will take place in CONSTANTIA, WESTERN CAPE and spots are limited.

Time: 09:00 - 13:00
Cost: R 1,500 per person

• The price above is for one person. Should you have questions, please read our Workshop T's and C's below.
• You'll receive an e-mail the week of your chosen workshop date with everything you need to know for the event (how to find us, where to park, what to bring etc.)

• Please note that the workshop fee is non-refundable, however, if you're unable to attend after booking your spot, the ticket is transferable to a friend.
• We have a full programme planned for the workshop, please ensure that you arrive promptly so we can maximise our time together.
• Attendees understand and agree that they may be photographed during the event and that the images may be used for future promotion.

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events at any point.
• Physical tickets won't be issued. You'll receive an automatic confirmation email when placing your order and we will email you all the details for the workshop in the week of the event. These emails will serve as confirmation of your place.
• Please note: you might be asked for your address as part of our checkout process, but your confirmation e-mail will serve as your 'ticket'. No ticket will be sent to your address (you won't be charged for shipping).
